Sales Administrator (Part Time)

We have an excellent opportunity available for an experienced administrator to join our Sales Administration team at Bridgend Ford.

The Sales Admin Team provide administrative support to the sales teams and carry out typical admin duties such as invoicing, monitoring and updating databases, taxing, finance queries, organise vehicle payments and vehicle deliveries for the New and Used, Car & Van Sales departments.

It is a fast-paced environment where you will need the ability to prioritise, and problem solve meeting frequent targets & deadlines.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have strong organisational, administrative and multi-tasking skills.
  • Be methodical with first-class time management.
  • Have the ability to prioritise your work.
  • Have strong teamwork skills.
  • Be IT literate and experienced with Microsoft Office Packages.
  • Have the ability to work unsupervised and make decisions.
  • Be analytical.
  • Have strong numeracy skills.
  • Have the ability to work to deadlines and targets in a busy environment.
  • Have experience in an administrative role.

Desirable but not essential (Full in-house training will be provided):

  • Candidates with an automotive background or experience in a similar position in the motor trade.
  • Experience of Power DMS.
  • Experience with Contact Advantage / Claro

We are looking for two candidates to job share covering Monday to Saturday. We are flexible on the contracted hours, working anywhere between 15 - 35 hours.

This is a permanent position.

Salary from £22,000 (pro-rata) dependant on experience and agreed hours.



Light Commercial Vehicle Technician

Our Commercial Vehicle Service Department has seen a huge growth in recent times and continues to increase; to maximise the opportunity of this growth, we are looking for an experienced and highly motivated technician who has a passion for working on vehicles with a ‘right first-time’ attitude, to join our talented team.

As a Bridgend Ford Commercial Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair work of commercial vehicles for our customers. You will also ensure that you deliver an outstanding customer experience.

To be successful, you will:

  • Be an ambitious, enthusiastic, competitive individual, and an asset to an already successful team.
  • Have proven experience of repairing vehicles to the highest standard, achieving and exceeding targets, with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
  • Have exemplary technical skills.
  • Be committed to achieving and exceeding targets for quality and customer experience.
  • Have a formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds/ NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent qualification).
  • Provide the highest levels of customer service - understanding the importance of repeat business.
  • Have a full driving licence (no more than six points)

Your role will include:

  • Regular vehicle maintenance.

Salary starting from £28,000 plus bonus.

This is a permanent, full-time position.

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5pm plus 1 in 3 Saturdays as overtime

As a Bridgend Ford Motor Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults on a variety of vehicles. You will also ensure that you deliver an outstanding customer experience.

  • Have a proven track record of repairing vehicles to the highest standard, achieving and exceeding targets, with a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Product Specialist

  • Answering customer questions, including face to face, over the telephone, by email and video interaction.
  • Building and maintaining relationships.
  • Assist customers in identifying the correct vehicle for their needs.

No experience is necessary as the business will provide full product training.

You must hold a full UK driving licence (no more than six points)

This is a permanent, full-time position.

A rota averaging 40.5 hours per week with shifts between 9am and 7pm Monday to Sunday.

Salary: £22,000 - £23,000 dependant on experience
