DELIVERS HIGH-TECH FEATURES, SMART CONNECTIVITY, ENHANCED CAPABILITY AND VERSATILITY FOR WORK, FAMILY AND PLAY

It’s generally agreed that the Ford Ranger is the best pick-up truck money can buy. There are plenty of reasons for this widely held opinion.

For a start, it’s a pleasure to drive and comfortable to travel in; it boasts potent engine options, features a smartly appointed interior and comes well-specified as standard.

It’s flexible too, with a range of body styles to choose from – and if you require an off-road pick-up par excellence, the Raptor variant is the ideal candidate.

Looking better than ever, the latest Ranger generation is set to consolidate its position as the very best pick-up truck on the market.

Highlights
Rugged Ranger The all-new Ranger sure is a looker. Somehow, Ford has managed to surpass the handsome and rugged qualities possessed by the last-generation model. Yes, the latest iteration is an impressive-looking vehicle, its stature boosted by an elevated ride height and smooth contours that swell in all the right places.
Alloy appeal While entry-level XL trims are fitted with 16-inch steel wheels as standard, second-tier XLT grades ride on 16-inch alloys (and top-of-the-line Platinum grades are fitted with full-size 18-inch alloy wheels). Alloy doesn’t merely look good, it’s a lightweight yet hard wearing metal that helps to deliver optimal automotive efficiency and performance.
Green screen All models are fitted with a green-glass windscreen which helps reduce eye strain and interior fading while contributing towards an equitable cabin temperature. As well as facilitating optimal visibility, it also minimises the effects of strong sunlight.
Choose a body style Available in a choice of Single Cab and Double Cab-in-Van (DCiV) options, there’s almost certainly a version of the all-new Ranger that will be ideal for your business and/or family-car needs. For instance, Single Cab models provide room for two while offering plenty of load-box capacity. Double Cab variants, on the other hand, provide the opportunity to enjoy the perfect work-life balance, thanks to a five-seat capacity and easy four-door access.

The further up the trims you progress, the more the all-new Ranger’s cabin resembles that of an upscale family SUV.

    Highlights
XL – strictly business The entry-level XL trim is an ideal option for driver’s requiring a vehicle which is work-focused. This is particularly true of Single Cab models, which put the emphasis on load-box capacity while comfortably accommodating two travellers.
Family-friendly Double Cab A Double Cab variant is ideal if you’re looking for a pick-up that can comfortably do double duty. By day, it’s perfectly capable of handling the cut and thrust of working assignments. By night – or on days off or holidays – it provides plenty of room for a family of five, while a four-door body ensures easy access.
Retractable tonneau cover As well as keeping items in the load box safe and secure, an optional retractable tonneau cover ensures that the vehicle as a whole is perfectly presentable. It’s certainly worth considering if you want a pick-up that’s ideal for family-focused and social activities.
Cargo capacities Another reason why the Single Cab Ranger is such a hardworking ally is because it offers the most space for cargo, with a load length of 2.3 metres. It delivers optimal load capacity too, as much as 1,361kg. Nevertheless, Double Cab variants can manage between 1,037kg and 1,098kg, and all models can tow up to 3,400kg.

      Technology

The latest-generation Ranger is equipped with more desirable tech features than ever.

      Highlights
Potent engines A standard-issue 2.0-litre EcoBlue engine produces 168bhp and 405Nm of torque, and all-wheel drive provides enhanced traction on less than perfect surfaces. Meanwhile, Double Cab models offer the option of choosing a 2.0-litre 202bhp/500Nm or a 3.0-litre V6 238bhp/600Nm powertrain.
Infotainment highlights Entry-level XL trims are provided with a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which features a two-speaker (Single Cab models) or four-speaker sound system (DCiV variants). Included are an AM/FM tuner, a DAB digital radio and USB and Bluetooth connectivity, the latter of which enables audio streaming.
Five-star safety In December 2022, the all-new Ranger was awarded a full five-star Euro NCAP crash-test rating in recognition of its build quality and myriad safety features. Intelligent Speed Assist, Roll-over Mitigation, Collision Mitigation System, Traffic Sign Recognition and Lane-keeping Aid are just some examples of the range of standard-issue driver aids that are included.
Start-Stop efficiency Whenever the Ranger idles or comes to a temporary stop, Auto Start-Stop kicks in, switching off the engine in order to save fuel. When it’s time to get going, simply let go of the clutch and enter first gear – or, if you have automatic transmission, release the brake.
