Run 4 Wales (R4W) is a not-for-profit social enterprise and charitable trust set-up to promote, manage and deliver major sporting events.
Established in 2012, the organisation has grown into one of the UK’s best-known mass participation event organisers, driven by a desire to deliver world-class events with a positive social agenda. These events provide a platform to champion mental health, women’s running, community regeneration, diversity, volunteering, fundraising and environmental sustainability. The surpluses are invested into grassroots sport and community projects through their charitable foundation.

Previously known as the Cardiff Bay 5 Mile, the Cardiff Bay Run returned in 2017 with a stunning new 10km course. It has quickly grown into one of Wales’ best-loved 10K races. It’s spring-time date means it provides an early season opportunity to test your fitness or stay motivated over the winter months.

The Healthspan Porthcawl 10K is an exciting race in the seaside town known for its surf, sports and coastal walks.
A summertime hotspot for both locals and visitors – Porthcawl is renowned for shining under the sun.
The Healthspan Porthcawl 10K will take place on closed-roads, taking in a number of landmarks and stunning seaside spots including Rest Bay, Trecco Bay, Coney Bay, the picturesque town centre, historic Grand Pavillion and the iconic Porthcawl Lighthouse.
A host of other sporting activities for families and children will also be included in the day’s action – including an electrifying Fun Run, Toddler Dash and competitive Future Challengers race, giving budding athletes a chance to take their first footsteps into running.
