Please select one of the following options or take a look at the video below which will explain more about worry-free motoring.

What is the Ford Motability Scheme?

The Ford Motability Scheme provides people the opportunity to exchange their mobility allowance for a brand new car. Here at Bridgend Ford we can support you on this exciting journey.

The worry free Motability package enables you to keep the car for three years and includes fully comprehensive insurance for two named drivers. During the lease you can relax because all your needs are catered for:

  • RAC Priority One breakdown cover.
  • Autoglass for any glass replacements.
  • Kwik Fit will support you when you need tyres.
  • With Bridgend Ford Motability Service, we will look after any vehicle servicing and maintenance throughout the lease and the scheme package also covers the MOT before the vehicle goes back.
  • In addition to this there is a 60,000 mileage allowance across the three years.
  • There are also a wide range of vehicle adaptations available if needed.

It means you’ve always got the peace of mind of a reliable new Motability Ford. It doesn’t matter if your disability or condition prevents you from driving – you can still lease a car and arrange for someone else, like a family member or a carer, to drive it for you.

You may be eligible to join the scheme if you receive any of the following:

  • Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance (HMRC DLA)
  • Enhanced Rate of Personal Independent Payment (PIP)
  • War Pensioners' Mobility Supplement (WPMS)

You just exchange your mobility allowance to lease the car that suits your needs best. You will not own the car at the end of the lease.
