After more than 40 years as Bridgend Ford, we have a new name.

From today, we are Waterton Motor Group.

It's a big moment for us, and we wanted to take a moment to explain what it means, what's changing, and perhaps more importantly, what isn't.


Why the change?

The automotive world has moved on considerably since 1986. We're no longer just a Ford dealership. We now offer a carefully chosen range of approved used vehicles, new cars from Ford, electric vehicles from XPENG, and a new generation of electric commercial vehicles from Farizon.

Bridgend Ford was a name that served us well for decades. But it no longer reflected everything we do, or everything we can offer our customers. Waterton Motor Group does.

What's changing

From today, you will start to see our new name and visual identity onsite and across social media. Our new website is under construction and will be on its way very soon.

We're also growing our range. With over 250 approved used vehicles on site, plus new cars from Ford, electric vehicles from XPENG and electric commercial vehicles from Farizon, there's more to choose from than ever before. All in one place, with the same team behind it.

What isn't changing

The people, the values and the way we work.

We're still a family-run business. We still believe buying a car should feel straightforward, supportive and completely free of pressure. We still price everything fairly, explain everything clearly and stand behind every vehicle we sell.
