Bridgend Ford, one of South Wales' largest privately-owned Ford Main Dealers, is proud to announce its sponsorship of RescueFest 2024, a dynamic and free open day organized by Porthcawl RNLI.

Scheduled for Sunday, 16 June, RescueFest is set to deliver an action-packed experience with thrilling rescue demonstrations and engaging displays by the RNLI, emergency services, and other organisations.

RescueFest promises a fun-filled day for all ages, featuring entertaining demonstrations, including a special performance by Newfoundland dogs. The event offers a unique opportunity for families to enjoy a day out while learning about the critical work of the RNLI and other emergency services.

Porthcawl RNLI, one of the busiest lifeboat stations in Wales, hosts this exciting event with the aim of raising funds to support their lifesaving missions at sea. The funds gathered during the day will directly contribute to the vital operations of the RNLI, helping to ensure the safety of those in the water.

This year, RescueFest is part of the new all-weekend BeachFest event, which extends the festivities to Saturday, 15 June. BeachFest will transform Porthcawl with beach sports, market stalls, and various entertainment activities, making it a must-visit destination for the weekend.

Bridgend Ford’s sponsorship of RescueFest underscores their commitment to community support and engagement. Operating from a state-of-the-art facility on a 5-acre site near Junction 35 of the M4, Bridgend Ford is conveniently located just 15 minutes from Cardiff and 20 minutes from Swansea.
