Bridgend Engine Plant Family Open Day 2016

On Sunday 26th June 2016 Bridgend Ford took a vast army of brand new Ford vehicles to the Engine Plant Open Day in Bridgend. We were sure that with over 2,500 tickets given out that this would be the perfect opportunity to showcase some of the great models that Ford currently offer. Amongst this range we had the Ford Mustang, Ranger, Mondeo, Fiesta ST, Focus ST and even the new Ford Focus RS. The day began at 10am and within minutes a swarm of eager members of staff and their families arrived at our display.

It didn’t take people long to hear word that we were putting on an off road experience using a pair of our New Ford Rangers on the outskirts of the Engine Plant. Everyone was making their way down to the pickup point only to be greeted by the gleaming smiles of the individuals that went before them. We had some really great feedback throughout the day.

It wasn’t just us that made an appearance during the day, the Ford Owners Club were present with a selection of the older models such as the Ford Focus RS. Ford Events Team were nearby, showing off the incredible ‘City Stop’ technology, as well as Ford’s own self-parking technology.

Overall the day was a great success and Bridgend Ford were happy to be a part of the incredible efforts made by all of the staff at the Bridgend Engine Plant. We hope to see everyone again next year!
