Bridge FM have teamed up with Sainsbury’s in Bridgend and G4S Parc Supporting Families to make sure that no child goes without an egg this Easter. The team at Bridge FM have put the word out to listeners to support them this year while they are out shopping by buying one extra Easter egg and leaving it in any of their collection points.
The appeal started a few years ago and has seen a huge success with many local businesses getting involved. Managing Director at Bridgend Ford, Gary Pesticcio has been involved with the scheme for several years and is delighted to be a part of such a fantastic cause. This year he donated nearly 200 eggs on behalf of Bridgend Ford.
“It is great to see not only ourselves, but other businesses around the county pulling together to support the local charities. Every year the appeal seems to go from strength to strength and it is an absolute pleasure to be a part of”.
Bridge FM are working with charities such as Ty Cornel, The Salvation Army and The Special Baby Unit P.O.W. to ensure that they get the right help to get all children in Bridgend County an egg this Easter.
